New Tag !

After about 1 month, I was finally able to go and get my new work of art : a superb tag that i'm planning on hanging up on my wall, right next to Marilyn Monroe :D

A good friend of mine did it, he's really good at tagging and graffiti and all that stuff, so I asked him to make a Tag on a little Canvas, which he gladly did :)

Now, as a satisfied customer, I'm making some advertising :

DIY Project : Platform Sneakers

The other day, when coming home from school, I saw a young woman in the bus, and the shoes she was wearing directly caught my eyes : She had the most amazing Leopard Printed Platform Sneakers I'd ever seen !
Of course, I thought I'd buy the same. Yeah, but 138 $ ?? I don't think so
Instead, I tried to find out how to DIY them !

So This is the new DIY Project : Platform Sneakers !

To be Followed !

DIY : Dip-Dye Ombré Studded Sweater

This is probably one of the trickiest and longest DIY I've made 'til now..
But damn, it was worth it !!
Do this if you have time, gloves, and if possible some help by a friend or a family-member.

You will need :
- An old Sweater
- Special Fabric Dip-Dye Paint.
- A Bucket of warm water
- Salt
- Studs

Step 1 : Fill the Bucket of warm water + salt + the paint

 Blend everything with a spoon.

Step 2 : Dip the Sweater into the bucket.
Leave it there for about 3minutes.
Now, to make the Ombré-look, let only the very ends of the sweater dip a bit longer into the bucket, like 6 minutes.

Step 3 : Allow to dry.
This is going to take time, let it dry for the night and "wring" the painted parts of the sweater to remove excess paint.

Step 4 : Rince with cold water  and let dry.

Step 5 : Stud
Using your studs and a knife, push the studs through the fabric where you want and bend the prongs into the fabric.

Use your imagination, Be Creative !

Now, Admire !!!

DIY : Red Leopard Shoes !

These shoes are perfect for the Spring/Summer, they go with almost everything and they are quite easy to make :) This DIY goes for all colours, which means if you want to do it on Blue Shoes for example , it will still be the same tutorial ;-)

You will need :
Red (Or the colour you want) Shoes ( I got mine at Primark for 3 euros! )
Black Acrylic Paint
- A Fine Painting-Brush
- A Pencil
- Scotch Tape
Tip : Wherever you do this, just make sure you've got something under the shoes while painting them, like old newspaper or plastic-bags, as you sure don't want to get Acrylic paint on the floor !

Step 1 : Take off the laces and tape the sides of the shoe.
All is in the title !

Step 2 : Draw the pattern
Using your paper-pencil , draw the leopard-pattern on the shoe to facilitate the painting-part. You can use a picture of pattern as a model if you want to, it's easier especially if you're afraid to fail the pattern.

Step 3 : Paint.
Take your brush and start painting over the pattern you've drawn on the shoe. Don't paint like it's some kind of paper, just "dot" gently with your brush on it.

Step 4 : Allow to dry + take off the tape
I let mine dry for the night. Acrylic paint dries quickly, but it's always better to let dry for a long time, just to be really sure !
You can take off the tape of the sides of the shoe, and once they are completely dry put the laces back !

Admire your work !

DIY Project : Handprints -T-shirt.

I often look for inspiration on Youtube, and I have some favourite channels and "Youtubers" I love , for example Andreaschoice or TheNotoriousKIA and others.
So I saw this video by TheNotoriousKIA where she showed her new T-shirt with two handprints on it .
It looked a bit like this :

I love it !!!  So I'm going to make the same on a Grey kind of Oversized T-shirt, and with some black acrylic paint I'll make the handprints !

To be followed !
